Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun Memorial Plaque Order Form

On the walls of our beautifully restored Main Sanctuary are mounted seven tablets bearing our community’s precious memorial plaques.  These plaques represent a traditional and dignified memorial to loved ones.

At KJ, now in its 153rd year, we abide our longstanding tradition of keeping the lights lit on either side of the plaque each year during the full month of the Yahrzeit and also when we recite Yizkor on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Pesach, and Shavuot.

The cost of plaques is $1,500 which is tax deductible.  If you have relatives whom you wish to memorialize, and/or you would like to reserve plaque spaces for yourself and other living relatives - you should not need them until after 120 years - now would be a good time to order plaques and keep all of your family’s plaques together in the same location.  You need not be a formal KJ member to order Memorial Plaques.
